Student From South African Decent Against IAW

Israel Apartheid Week has made me feel discriminated against because the name in itself is slanderous towards the state of Israel. Of South African heritage, I know what apartheid represents and connotes, and I have first-handedly witnessed how IAW activists seek to foster such negative feelings towards Israel. Moreover, the passivity of York University in allowing such aggressive and blatantly anti-Israel (and as a by-product, anti-Jewish) campaigns has lead me to feel unsafe on campus.
